I have two short-haired, domestic cats and they are shedding like crazy. I’ve had them on the same diet for 10 months now and the temperature has remained the same in the house since November, so I know those two variables are not what’s causing this shedding.

I want to buy a brush or two so that I can brush them everyday to decrease the amount of hair we have around the house. I have a soft bristle brush that collects some hair, but it doesn’t do a great job. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good brush that gets the job done? Please let me know of any brushes you’ve used on your cats that worked for you, and let me know of the ones that didn’t!
My cats are on a Raw Meat Diet. 80% meat and 20% dry food. They get the best dry food available, so trust me when I say it’s not the food.
