My hair is dark blonde and kinda flips out when i straighten it. I have side bangs that sweep from the right side of my face, to my left. They are longish though. Please help? Thanks a bunch:)

I just got a new haircut, it was long and straight with no style and now I have soft layers and the hairdresser dude voluminized it by wrapping my hair in I think a bristle brush and as he was pulling the brush out, he was blow-drying it and after he was done, it was a really good volume i guess. My question is, Is there another way to get a really good volume without having to use a blow-dryer? I take good care of my hair and I don’t use heat on it a lot.
